- Prayer Works: Doreen Gower coordinates this confidential prayer ministry provided by a group of people who pray in their own homes.
- Prayer Requests: If you wish to have a name printed on the weekly Prayer List (handed out Sundays with the Order of Service), please call the office at 253-2979.
- Pre-Service Prayer Circle: Join us at 10:40 am for 20 minutes of quiet time and prayer Sundays prior to the 11:00 am service. We pray for one another, the service, and people whose names are brought forward. Sometimes we just share silence with each other. This is an open, unstructured, and welcoming time. Prayer Shawl Ministry: Southwood recently formed a Prayer Shawl Ministry coordinated by Carol Henders. This group of enthusiastic a caring people knit and crochet prayer shawls that can be given to members of the congregation and community who are in need of prayers and support. The group meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm to work on the shawls and enjoy the fellowship, food and fun. We invite anyone who knits, crochets or would like to learn to join us.
